Exciting renovations have been taking place at Peacocke's Hotel in Maam Cross, beginning with the opening of our new Coffee Shop in February 2008. This self-service style Restaurant is incorporated into our Craft and Gift Shop, allowing you to take advantage of the wonderful views of Connemara while relaxing over lunch or a drink.

We also have the great pleasure of introducing our new 60 seat fine dining Restaurant, Leckavrea, where excellent food will be served and cooked by our Head Chef Michael Canning. The Craft & Gift Shop at Peacocke's Hotel is sure to surprise you - well-stocked with an array of items made right here in Ireland, including brand names such as Galway Irish Crystal, Jack Murphy and Guinness.

To make your holiday in Connemara an enjoyable one, we also have on site a 20 metre viewing tower which looks across the mountains and over lakes, where you can view unspoiled Connemara as far as the eye can see, and the Quiet Man Cottage, a replica of the a traditional thatched Irish Cottage made famous by the film of the same name.
